Infra Group is delighted to announce the appointment Mr. Eskinder (Alex) Assefa as Vice President of Integrated Project Development (IPD) Strategic Business Unit of Effective 1st of March, 2015

Mr. Eskinder (Alex) Assefa brings with him a broad base of experiences spanning across managerial, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), research and analysis as well as consultancy assignments. Just as importantly, these deliverables were carried out across the Financial, Agricultural, Manufacturing, Construction and other major sectors. His professional experiences cover both international assignments (e.g. Microsoft Corporation) as well as domestic projects (including project management duties in projects carried out by international “Big 4” firms).

Alex has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science and Post-Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering from the University of Washington. He is also an inventor with an international patent in voice recognition (i.e. Patent # 5,706,398).

His tenure with Infra Group initially started as an Advisor and Director of Corporate Change Management. Under his new assignment as Vice President of IPD, his responsibilities primarily revolve around effective screening and subsequent development, qualification and formulation as well as rollout of infrastructural and industrial projects. He is also entrusted with the successful completion of his previous duties pertaining to the institutionalization of optimized workflows and development of associated Policy/Procedure Manuals & Task Guidelines in addition to the gradual development and implementation of a formal Information & Communication Technology (ICT) strategy throughout the entire Infra Group organization.
